Call me weird, but I'm driving there.

Same here. Anyone know what the parking's like?
The ground's hemmed in by housing on all sides so it's all on-street parking (from memory). I parked about 5 mins walk away in 2016/17 but you'd expect a much bigger crowd this time round.

2:30 start then MF?

Just rang Chorley FC it's on street parking. He said it isn't usually a problem finding somewhere.
Not been to Chorley before so a first for me

Last train back south from Bolton is 1735, and you would struggle to make that from Chorley.

Depends if women or men are parking.

Might do Preston then and the same bus to Chorley

Yes, you can do Preston, as Transpennine Express (rather than Northern) run non-stop from there to Manchester. It's a long way round, though!

I've been there a few times. There is very limited parking by the ground. It may now be for players only I don't know? The ground is surrounded by terraced housing with limited on street parking. I would get there early to stand any chance of parking easily. Maybe there are car parks in the town but the ground is probably a 15 minute walk from the town centre.  The club house is OK but the ground itself isn't Old Trafford by a long chalk!  IMO the whole area is a bit run down and depressing. Tough to be consistent and to challenge for the top 3 with the 4th best attack in the league and the 7th worst defence.

4-1 was harsh but again architects of our own downfall. Only go to in at HT 1 up has really cost the game. Hancocks free kick was very close, Richman should have scored. The first 2 we conceded were well worked from Chorley, the 3rd was a complete embarrassment (how the ball is allowed to bounce is beyond basic), the 4th was down to law of averages (if a team with 2 giants have 20 corners, they'll score from 1). I don't think Leather is a better CB than what we have but the 3rd would have not have occurred if he'd have been defending it.

Can see why Johnson came off for Mantack (who did ok) but no idea why Sang replaced Harrop.

Great thanks turn out from us again (just need Cult to stay away!)
