Why is it so quiet on the auction for the very spot fro which Clive launched that belting strike?

£30 is my bid at the minute, and I've not told my Good Lady Wife yet. :'(

Come on...this is for Alty F.C.

We can do better then thirty quid surely?

Why not contact the man himself and see if wants to put a bid in. We know where he is.

NL Daily says that after his departure from Stalybridge Celtic, "John Reed, the new manager of UniBond League Premier Division newcomers Buxton has drafted in former Swansea City defender Clive Freeman [pictured right playing for Guiseley against Alty in 2002] to be assistant-manager at the Silverlands. Forty-four-year-old Freeman's playing career saw him play for the likes of Doncaster Rovers and Altrincham, where he famously won the BBC `Match of the Day`s goal of the month award for an effort against Chester City in the FA Cup. He has also had stints with Yorkshire sides Farsley Celtic, Emley, Bridlington Town, Bradford Park Avenue and Guiseley, where he ended up as number two before moving back to Park Avenue in a similar role under previous boss Phil Sharpe [also ex-Alty]"... Former Northwich Victoria boss Steve Burr has recently taken charge of Stalybridge... [where former Vics'] striker James Dean has followed Burr to Celtic".
