My harsh criticism was because the situation had become critical weeks ago and yes I didn't think he was good enough for the league below and was protected by a very good defence for that league. He still made a load of mistakes. In my opinion he is still 2 leagues above his standard. Anyway it has been addressed now but I hope Drench is given 10 games or more because he will make a couple of mistakes in the transition of being in a new team.

IMO Tony Thompson is an average Evostick Premier keeper on his ability but apparently he's a massive character in the dressing room which shouldn't be underestimated. Obviously Drench is going to be our number 1 but it's a tough decision for Phil who to keep on as his number 2.

Agreed. Seems a decent lad and huge personality but not enough in this case.
