BPA Match Thread (part 4)
« on: February 13, 2019, 12:51:02 PM »

Densmore at RB, White at LB and richman in for Williams are changes to the starting 11 I envisage.

Looks like BPA are trying to drop out of the playoffs so we should make it 4 out of 4!

Alty 2-0 BPA. Piggot Hancock.

I'll raise you the above and an extra goal, with a Johnston penalty adding the third.

I've never seen him kick a ball, so I can't put him in

Alty - Evs
Draw - 13/5
BPA 2/1

I’d lump on before that changes because it will

Agreed with team selection.

Would like an update on all our injuries and expected time scales.....gutted for Harrison.

The pitch should be drying out nicely. Hopefully it will allow us to play our normal game.

Slightly concerned about this game - the team will be re-organised due to last week's injuries and Jordan's continued suspension and as we have easily beaten BPA each time this season, there could be some complacency. Also there could be a strange atmosphere with all the non-football stuff going on. Hope I'm wrong but could be tough getting the 3 points tomorrow

I share this concern, and the hope that I'm wrong to do so ...

There must be no complacency and 100% focus, regardless of what else is going on. This is a season defining fortnight starting tomorrow. An absolute key four fixtures seeing what other fixtures are taking place.

We have to build some momenntum and pattern so we hit the play offs as a form team.

If we've signed a left winger lets play him and get him settled in as soon as possible..

Our best form has been with richman in midfield.

I'd also like to see jake play a little further forward allowing hancock more freedom....the defence should really take care of itself with dens and white full backs.

Lets get the ball to the wingers and give two strikers a bit of service...

Looking at the table and fixtures, there is no margin for error over the next few weeks. Today is a real opportunity, if you look at the form guide over 6 matches, they are bottom, this is a real chance for us.
Also looking at the form Curzon Ashton are on a great run, so next week will be a difficult match, all the more reason to bag the points today.

Still don't think we played well last week and we were lucky to win. Hopefully if PP can organise the team for today without the various injuries and team changes we saw last week.

Dens wasn't on the bench last week - I hope it wasn't a fitness issue

He was in the stand with Luca Havern and the Boshells, amongst others.
