I expect Dens to start today. He’s match fit, sure PP said so in his interview.

Should be a good match up, Densmore v Clee

White has done well this season but I actually would prefer Dens against Clee. He will stay tighter.

I imagine White will be left-back today, due to Connor's injured hand.

Worst game I've seen in ages. Was it 5th v 7th? Christ. The referee definitely came to the right game.

Poor game.

Completely lost our shape when Piggott went off.  He wasn't great but our shape went with that sub.

Fawes looks unfit and I am not sure he is what we need when we have Hancock and Poole. Reminds me of Sam Sheridan in his brief appearance.

JJ was rightly subbed, very poor game for him. You could see his head wasn't in it today. Please take him off corners, his final ball is poor. Still love the lad though.

We need to push our full backs forward. We played into their hands second half and sat back. We invited their pressure and it was a terrible goal to concede.

Their number 4 was very very good. I think it was Hurst, I would keep an eye on him.

They also looked fitter than us which is worrying at this stage of the season.

Not many positives at all.

I don't know if Connor Hampson had been told not to get forward today but he barely attempted one run, so I only guess we were trying to stay tight at the back. Having said that Shaun Densmore got forward a lot on the other side.

Maybe its just what I wanted to think was happening, but it seemed to me the defence was more confident with Steve Drench in goal.

Max is not a winger, Joe Piggott is not the centre forward we need. Did he have a good game? Well he was man of the match, so he must have, but it might have been nice if he'd got on the ball a few times. His kit gave the impression he needs to lose some weight, which might explain his rate of acceleration.

The new guys need to bed in rapidly or we are going to struggle.

A disjointed performance. Too many looked off the pace or out of sorts today. Neither side created much but I'd say a draw was a fair result.

I thought Piggott did ok and set the goal up well. He's a young lad learning his trade so we can't expect him to lead the line like Jordan Hulme. I liked his energy but of course we need more than that.

Nicky Clee had a good game for them at right back and JJ and Max both struggled against him.

Max is far better in the middle of the park. I would have taken him off today rather than JJ who is always a threat because of his pace, even when he's having a bad game.

Can't say I found Drench particularly dominant or inspiring in goal - flapped at a few crosses/tame shots.

Today's game pretty much went as I expected to be honest. 3 points on Tuesday now even more important.

I thought our defence had to work over time today as they ran straight through the midfield , hannigan was my motm .... clee schooled harrop when he went against him , wound him up got him booked then showed what he can do by creating the equaliser ceesay,jj, harrop and hancock (who was very lucky to stay on the pitch ) could have been subbed even the sub himself they were that bad , agree with the post above there number 4 was excellent

How did Richman play today? I was pleased to see him in the team, but didn't hear his name much on the commentary.

Got what we deserved, just about.

Woeful first half with the exception of the goal which was very good. Much better 2nd half until Piggot went off. Don't think either keeper made a save.

How Hampson stayed on when White was on the bench is beyond me.  Clee was mom as JJ got nothing out of him and created the goal.

Most disappointing thing was their poxed up goal.

Good coverage though

The defence played well richman was completely bypassed in midfield max was innefective....

anyone who said clee would be a backward step and doesn't think he would have improved our side is just being stubborn.

Agreed. Clee was brilliant all game. Such an intelligent and strong player.

Havern is still quality aswell.
