Blyth - Match thread
« on: March 03, 2019, 11:19:45 AM »

Absolutely huge game this on Tuesday it could really give us some daylight playoffs wise and see us up to fourth spot. Midweek crowds have been poor the season despite is not having many Tuesday games at home. Let’s try and have a decent turnout on Tuesday it really helps the players

I feel this will be a tougher test. Need to be at them from the off.

Piggott has done very well but Hulme back in.

Drench for TT.

Drench still Injured.

I don't think Hulme did enough to warrant a start over Piggott.

Fair enough. Just class to have quality on the bench.

PP and Neil have done an absolute unreal job. They now have options for plan B's with the likes of Dolan, Chadwick and I have even like that he has brought Richman on for Jake in later games. Moult was very good yesterday but it gives us legs when teams are tiring.
I think when we are winning by a margin that Moult sub should always be done.

Hulme or Piggot is the only decision to be made. You can make strong cases for both.

Yet another crucial match on Tues. Blyth have played quite a few of the form teams just lately so they will be battle hardened and seem to play well against us.
That said, we are hitting form at the right time of the season. Keep the belief and play to our potential and I can see three more point come 9-30 pm Tues night.
Alty 3-1 Blyth.

I plan to be there. with my son and Grandson.

You can, but it's debatable whether you should. I'd leave well alone. Consider the psychological effect on the opposition when a player of Jordan Hulme's stature at this level appears on the touchline raring to go. If that IS the scenario, we need to start his song before he enters the field of play.

Other interesting point here, is if we can get a result against Blyth, Kdderminster have to go to Chorley on Saturday then play Spennymoor and then are away at Brackley, a pretty tough few weeks.

Barring any injuries or fatigue I guess the starting lineup will be as Saturday past. With a strong bench.

Looking forward to this.

The postponement of this game from early Jan has definitely worked out well for us. We are beginning to re-discover our pre-Christmas form whilst Blyth on the other hand have only one once in the league in 2019. I expect us to go out and put on a performance and win well-setting us up nicely for a trip to a revitalised York outfit on Saturday.

Will be much tougher than people think this one. Would take a narrow win all day long. I imagine the team will be the same following two massive wins.

Agreed, this will be a tough game.

We need to get at them and have the intensity of Saturday.

only a little rain forecast in the day, and some from about 8pm onwards. today's downpours may mean they don't need the sprinklers on tomorrow night.
