I know they have the Northants Senior Cup Final v Rushden & Diamonds (or whatever they're called now) on April 2nd, we already have a game April 9th @ Telford, so I guess this was the one remaining midweek date.

If you think bracelet is a long way wait till next season when there will probably be another two southern sides in the north side.

Yes, it looks like Gloucester City (assuming they stay up) and Oxford City are the most likely to move, as the bottom half of the National League is full of southern clubs.
Gloucester have announced that, although they will start at Evesham, they plan to move back to their home city in the course of the season, though, as SBL will know, these moves can be subject to delay.

Braintree are a genuine contender for conference north next season also. Handy with it being awful to get to and one of the worst days out in nonleague.

Yes please, if we stay down. Both would be the dream for London Alty. Gloucester actually in Gloucester would be a great notch.

Let's assume that nobody from Conference National comes into our league. That leaves five places to be filled, and four of those will go to the promoted clubs from the two feeder leagues - there's nobody in the Southern League playoff picture that are further south than Hereford.

That means just one club to be shifted geographically. Gloucester are furthest north but as mentioned earlier in the thread they're only a point outside the relegation zone. Oxford City have been here before, but are barely any further north than St.Albans City !

Of course, we might not have to worry about this scenario - we could be going to Notts County instead.

You are forgetting that there are only going to be six clubs going up into NL north and south from the four feeder leagues, so there will be a "super playoff" like we had against Eastbourne Borough, between the playoff winners of those divisions to make it three up, three down.

On today's positions, Farsley and Kettering would come up, then there would be a play off between the likes of Warrington and Stourbridge, so two clubs would still need to head north from NL South.

Nice one Holmfield, just twigged!!!  Yes stadium delays are "a bit of a bugger".

Next years connotations look more complicated than the B word   (Brexit!!!!!!)

If we get promoted there will be some horrendous southern journeys. Lets pray the League will sensible and play them on Saturdays.

Imagine Dover or Eastleigh on a Tuesday night!!!

If the divide is a straightforward north/south then Gloucester City if they stay up and
Braintree Town are the two most northerly clubs. If Gloucester go down it looks very
borderline between Oxford City and St Albans City.
For a real pain of a place to get to, well up in the play off places in the Southern
League Premier Division Central are Kings Lynn Town.

I should have looked more closely at the map - Braintree is a definite ! King's Lynn just might be less difficult than that !
