Indeed. The euphoria of the "big" announcement is inversely proportional to that of yesterday's match.

They bigged it up then tell us nothing why couldn't they just say what the proposal was/is.

Eat your greens up and you can have a pudding!!!

The cynic in me thinks was it a ploy just to get people into the community hall.

I'm 100% cynic - it certainly crossed my mind. Didn't work on us though Ray !

I hope the players and PP understand the late notice and rather mixed arrangements for last night were the reason for an incredibly poor turnout.
Credit to the players and PP for being available...
After such a brilliant afternoon it was an anti climax.
But I guess it's also very clear the team is heading upwards and onwards, everyone is enjoying the football, there is no crisis, no questions and for a change we can just support the team during the match, show real appreciation at the end and go home and enjoy the rest of our weekend with our family and friends...

To be fare with regards to a poor turnout after the game, 90% of us have families to get back to or travel from further a field.

Great game and a great turnout from very happy appreciative supporters.

I’m talking about the announcement not being made in general not who was conducting the meeting. Unless it was Bill Waterson that said there would be an announcement then failed to deliver?
