Paid the price for taking a breather and stole defeat from the jaws of victory.
About 5 away fans...what is the point of a club like that??
Lets do it the hard way if needs be..heads up alty

We paid the price for messing about with the ball at the back. I thought we'd got out of the habit of doing it.

The Brackley forwards were pressuring it and almost intercepted the ball a couple of times before we gifted them the goal.

Let's learn the lesson and move on and hope for a twist that allows us to steal third place.

Unlucky boys.....plenty still to play for, it looks like we just get an extra match this season.
Perhaps it was just after the excellent game on Saturday, but the whole game looked rather flat, both Altrncham and Brackley.
Our chance was in the first half when Jordan was walking through their defence, and looked very sharp, they came back into the game in the second half and their goal was coming.
Whilst the manner of the defeat was disappointing, but really we did not play in the way we have done over the last few weeks. Anyway if we can make it into 4th place, and get past the qualifiying round, it looks like we will have the chance to get our revenge for tonight.
We have a great chance on Saturday and Monday to sort it out, there will be more twists and turns yet before the season is over.....

Feel ill.

Neither team deserved the win. Fair play to them for working their bollox of for 90mins. Gutted for Thompson, looked like the ball bobbled over his foot. We had loads of the ball, scored a deflected free kick, Hancock drew a save but not much else on target. Probably had 4 crosses that flashed across the goal that we got nothing on.

Must try to finish top 3 as our mid week evening games haven't been great.

Keep going boys. We have the team spirit to win the playoffs.

Keep fighting for each other.

We never really got going but they were so organised and defended very well.

I am leaning towards Dens and White as our full backs. Hampson hasn't played particular well during the second half of the season.

Moult, Hannigan and Dens had good games.

We will need experience in goal for the playoffs ( if we make them....fingers crossed).

Disappointed but not unexpected after Saturday - always a risk we'd come back down to earth. They were very solid and you can see why they don't concede many nor score that many either. Gutted for TT, he'd had a decent game and didn't deserve that. Poor Ben Harrison must wonder what he has to do to finish on the winning side for Alty this season - think FC Utd has been the only one and he was carried off injured then. Onwards and upwards, still lots to play for.

Well, at least we lost to a good team who tried to play football. If we don't make it, I hope they do. They may have no fans but they have loads of spirit. The less said about our performance, the better. We need to move on and win our last 3 games (which we are more than capable of).

The timing and manner of the defeat is obviously disappointing, to say the least, and could be a crushing blow. However, I think Phil Parkinson is very good at the psychology of sport, and can prevent this from defining our season. Yes, Tony Thompson made a mistake, but he also made a couple of fantastic saves and should focus on that.

Third place may be beyond us now, but we can certainly aim for a home tie in the elimination play-off.

Hey Ho sh*t happens...
What is now important is how the lads and fans react. We go to Nuneaton on Saturday looking to get the 3 points
We will get behind them ... 3 games 9 points up for grabs .
There is no fkn reason why we can't get all 9...
Get your heads up lads...
Brackley are a good side.  no disgrace losing to them

Cmon you Robins.

It matters not a jot how many fans they had.
If they had bought 500 they may have won comfortably

Gutted at our loss,it sounded like one of those games when we made plenty of chances but could not put them away.Just glad no one is blaming TT for their winner.

Bollocks to we lost to a better team.

A unneeded and poor Mistake cost us 3 points. A draw would have been a fairer result. Same. As Blyth

If this side had cut out mistakes against Blyth held on last week and last night.

Wed be talking about an outside title jaunt over the last games

But Saturday showed. We're good.enouhh to win the league. So whatever happened over the next month I expect us playing. Conference football in 2020.

These things happen in football from time to time. I’m not a fan of passing the Ball around at the back, especially in stoppage time but it’s the system we play and we’ve won a league playing that way and are in the hunt for promotion yet again playing that way. It’s about mental strength and going again. Let’s not forget it wasn’t that long ago that we beat Brackley in stoppage time in a play off semi final here. They went on to pump us in the second leg a few days later. Nine points to play for and third place is a slight possibility. Need to get behind them and see how we go. We’ve just had a run of 8 games without losing. If we can do another run of six we are back in the conference. Get yourselves to these last three games, starting with Nuneaton on Saturday

A real kick in the teeth. These things happen.
Brackley are a very good side, strong physically with plenty of pace.
A draw was about right. Back to our old ways at times, pleasing on the eye but overplaying. But to be fair Brackley had done their homework and made it very difficult for us, couldn’t play through them.
Wouldn’t be too disappointed. We are still a good side just need to put it behind us and learn the lesson from it. Onto the next game.
