Evening Matches
« on: April 17, 2019, 02:39:53 PM »

By my reckoning out the 7 Tuesday evening league games  played, we've won 2, drawn 2 & lost 3 (also lost in the CSC).

Not great that and highlights the importance of finishing 3rd

There's a lot of variables though. Crowd, poor lighting, rush home from work.

More or less the whole team seemed to be misfiring last night. Just a shame the own goal came when it did.

I wondered if the ref and Jordan had any history because the ref gave him absolutely nothing.

I bet that vertically challenged ref got a bollocking off Snow White for getting home late  ;)

Doesn’t look fantastic on paper, but that midweek record could look much more favourable if not for two costly individual errors in last minute of the previous two midweek games, with Dens forgetting to stop running when he reached Andre Brown in the penalty box at Telford last week, and Thompson, well…
So I wouldn’t read too much into it.

For what it’s worth, I still think we’ll finish 3rd anyway.
