Assuming Hampson isn't available, White in at lb and Hancock in for Harrop.

Nuneaton 0-3 Alty. Hulme (2), Moult.

They're under no pressure, which makes them dangerous. We SHOULD win, but let's not kid ourselves that it's a given.

2-1 Ceesay, JJ.

Alty 4 - 0 Nuneaton
Back to winning ways after a midweek hiccup
Sun will be shining plenty of Alty fans in attendance . Hopefully I will be one of them 🤞

I don't know but I'd avoid using him so our rivals in the playoff can't see what they are up against

We look set for a 3-game playoff starting at home - at this point finishing 5th might not be much worse than finishing 4th.

Just got back.

Yes Nuneaton were a sad poor lot but on a very hot day on a horrible bobbly hard patch that looked in the 1st half like it could turn into an embarrassing defeat while we huff and puff it felt like Nuneaton might just score a worldie and park the proverbial bus.

So full credit must go first of all to tony Thomson who bounced back with a really solid display and a couple of really good saves to prevent the aforementioned worldies.
And then to the team who continued playing their passing game on a blisteringly hot day and finally wore Nuneaton down to the point they were under the cosh and had to hoof clearances for the last half hour.

A really professional performance and the many alty fans were extremely noisy.

Still in with an outside chance of 3rd I can see spenymoor dropping 3 points and brackley could well slip up at chester and v fcum but whatever happens from here on in is a bonus

A well earned 3 points on a pitch with dandelions on, a mower run over the pitch would have helped. It just goes to show how fortunate we are to have our  groundsmen at Alty to care for our pitch.

I found it a strange game. The pitch was bobbly. Nunnys goalie must have been a type 2 diabetic the amount of time he pissed about having drinks of water and  was rightfully ridiculed by the travelling fans for his time wasting tactics.
Great to come away with another win.

Next up Hereford on Easter Monday. They won't be a pushover.
Would have liked to see County beat Chorley.

Awful game, but I'll take the three points and move on.

How did Ben Harrison fare? I hope he is good to play through to the end of the season.

Good solid performance - he should be fine.

White went off injured and I don’t think it’s looking good. Other than that it was a routine three points against a side that reflected the sorry state we were in at this stage of the 16/17 season.

Heard Ceesay will be fine for Monday. Jones will he back on Saturday following head injury protocol.

First half seemed like a summer friendly
Second half we did well, very professional performance. It was good that we persevered and played our short passing style on a bobbly pitch. This enabled us to create the overload in and around their box which then led to chances. A lesser team might have reverted to more long-ball tactics.
Chadwick battled well, lacking a bit of fitness obviously. Always strived to regain possession if he lost it.
