Probably the same idiots who were trying to pick
Fights outside the ground fair play to the Blyth fans
Who didn't bite.
What a game 2-1 down with seconds to go then the
Drama of extra time and pens.great character in this
Squad don't know when they are beaten PP and NS take
A bow you are already legends no matter what happens
At Chorley.

What a superb game of football. Was relieved to go in at the at 2-1. Thought they were excellent throughout, pressed us all game and stopped us playing especially first half. Much better 2nd half onwards and when Ceesay came off ( worse display from him since coming). Poole was a massive plus and Hannigan was immense, no doubt Johnston was mom.

Great night for us but Chorley will happy the way the game panned out.

Totally agree. Our confidence and tempo was poor for the first 25.

What a game, couldn't see that equaliser coming with the way Blyth were defending. Great save from TT at 2 2 as well that would have been devastating to lose it that way. Brilliant spirit in the team and hope there's still something left in the tank for Chorley. On a sour note though I think the club have to think about asking for a police presence at these sort of games. There were a couple of groups of lads I had never seen before who were clearly trying to spark something off after the game and going by what i heard it did kick off near the Royal Mail depot where the Blyth supporters coach was parked with at least 3 police cars heading down Moss Lane to sort out the trouble. You can't expect volunteer stewards to intervene, though they did their best, it looks like these two groups just waited until the stewards had gone before confronting the Blyth fans. A police presence even just after a game would probably have prevented any trouble.

Yes, superb game of football between two proper football teams who gave absolutely everything they had. Absolutely nobody on either side was found wanting, but I doff my cap to our much maligned keeper, who at 2-2 made one of the best saves I've ever seen. Well done Tony lad. Well done to everybody involved with the club. Tonight was epic, but I don't know what we've got left for Sunday.

Don't kid yourself that these boys won't be up and running on Sunday afternoon. We beat a very good team tonight (don't forget they won at Stockport recently, and were unbeaten away against all the rest of the top 8 clubs). I believe - come and join me. And my LGBT rainbow shirt remains unbeaten.

Might just have to put the whole game up! The extra time highlights would be a package on their own so it might be a couple of days before the 20-30 minute highlight show is available. Technically we're embargoed until 10pm Thursday but will get some footage online at some point Thursday evening along with Parky's post match interview.

These people are not Alty fans, just come down for a fight.
I will apologise. You shouldn’t have to put up with these idiots.
I guess we all have these !!!!!!!!!

Just got back . What a tense night of football that was. Heroes one and all
I thought the Blyth fans were superb . Chatting to a few outside the chippy before kick off and managed to see them after to wish them and there club well

The so called Alty fans who embarrassed the club are typical morons. We don't need or want you at Moss Lane.

Can't wait for Chorley.

Off to bed now. Got a golf match at 10-30. 🏌️

Unfortunately they weren't there though at the end of the game when they were needed.

There seems to be very little event management knowledge around the club, or at least a lack of willingness. It's always great to see a big crowd but I'd bet 90% of those that ran on the pitch at the end hadn't been to an Altrincham game all season, possibly never. Very few stewards outside the ground beforehand. None outside the ground after. The Blyth fans bus should have been drawn up the the Chequers end gate before the end of  the game so they didn't have to hang around waiting and risk the possibility of being verbally or physically abused by the clowns I saw approaching them on the corner of Golf Road.

As a club how do you stop the Idiots  turning up for the
Big Games Unless the Police made arrests last night and
Passed the names onto the club seems very difficult to stop.
Also last night I was talking to Chester and County fans who
Came to watch the game not implying they were any way
Involved last night but a difficult situation to police IMO
