Great game and result need to make sure the kids who tried to start on the Blyth fans dont come back.

As a club how do you stop the Idiots  turning up for the
Big Games Unless the Police made arrests last night and
Passed the names onto the club seems very difficult to stop.
Also last night I was talking to Chester and County fans who
Came to watch the game not implying they were any way
Involved last night but a difficult situation to police IMO
You need to work on your poetry.

I always thought the fans of this club were short on iambic pentameter. Rank amateurs!

That aside, what a night, thanks to one and all.

Superb night, almost got knocked over during the celebrations but was stopped by my lads. Never saw that late equalizer coming and had resigned myself to going out. The team spirit and never say die attitude of our players is superb. We can do this but there is still a long way to go. Chorley will have a hard game against us. I still feel their defence is vulnerable but we will have to be on our mettle on Sunday, I am going with Chris but driving. The team must be buzzing and I feel we fully played our part. I hope we dont get in trouble for the flare, but it did look good.

Bring on the highlights and Phil's interview, but he and Neil were buzzing last night, took me 1 hour to finally get to sleep last night!!

There seems to be very little event management knowledge around the club, or at least a lack of willingness. It's always great to see a big crowd but I'd bet 90% of those that ran on the pitch at the end hadn't been to an Altrincham game all season, possibly never. Very few stewards outside the ground beforehand. None outside the ground after. The Blyth fans bus should have been drawn up the the Chequers end gate before the end of  the game so they didn't have to hang around waiting and risk the possibility of being verbally or physically abused by the clowns I saw approaching them on the corner of Golf Road.
Have to agree, after the game, with  the stewards knowing where the Blyth supporters coach was, one of them should have gone to it and then got the driver to come to the ground rather than leave the Blyth fans to wander around until they eventually found it. Going by what I heard this led to it kicking off near the Royal Mail depot. I also believe the coach eventually had to have a police escort out of Altrincham which is somewhat embarrassing if that was the case.

20 mins of thuggery by some Feral kids can wipe out months of good stuff done by the club for the community..

That was superb - well worth all the rearranging meetings (yes I do need a conference call and no I can't come to London) to leave Cirencester at 4 to get there on time (just) and I got home at 1:45 but what a night!

Just one thing has been bugging me since then - what the hell is the middle line?

Parky had a dream, to build a football team
