Chairman has stepped down today, a day before they're in court.

I can see the sh*t hitting the fan

Been gone for a few months, just made it official today. Not to say we aren't in financial sh*t however, paid the players late for the past three months due to cash flow problems. Won't be an easy season in L2 next year but would rather be in our position than notts county or yeovil.

Bolton , Oldham ,  Macc. All North west teams struggling financially.

Feel for the fans.

Ajourned until 26th June.

They owe (amongst others) Egerton Football Club £20,000.

Truly are despicable

That’s where they used to train, I presume they don’t anymore if they owe them money!

They were in Court under a winding up order because of a range of continuing unpaid debts (plural), including Egerton and HMRC. i.e. monies owed which instead went to pay Sol Campbell and the players' wages. Another chapter in their continuing disreputable history.

Didn't the Council bail them out a couple of years ago by buying the ground as I remember? As far as their manager is concerned he can rot in hell for me SBL

This is it. They’ve been robbing Peter to pay Paul for years Macc, yet they still get away with it. A club lacking in any semblance of class whatsoever.

Don't know about Peter and Paul, but they've been robbing plenty of people to pay Sol - he won't be doing the job for three and sixpence plus a bag of chips on the coach home.

Apparently doing it free to gain management experience.

He is only using them as a stepping stone but a source says the players dislike him and his good form at the beginning was more Whittaker's input.

It has been said he makes strange selections and often plays players out of position.
