Warrington vs Kings Lynn
« on: May 11, 2019, 09:44:56 AM »

I see it’s the ‘Super Final’ this afternoon to decide the final promotion spot with Farsley and Kettering. Both sides have been right up there in their respective leagues last 2 seasons so sure it will be close. I’ll probably be in the minority of one on here but I’d love to see Kings Lynn do it as I have a very good mate from there so keen to see them win it for him. I note too it’s an all ticket sell out with 2500 capacity and the away team only given 375 tickets. I thought you needed 3k minimum at our level? Lucky for them Stockport got promoted. Look forward to seeing how it pans out.

I'd love kings lynn, just due to the officials at warringtons attitude towards us the year before last

The stupid thing in football is you have until the March the following year to get the work completed for upgrading your grounds these days.

I certainly don't want to see Warrington next season - and I fancy an overnight stay in Norwich, which has 25 pubs in the current Good Beer Guide. Maybe I'd better think of making it a full mini break ! Come on you Linnets !

Is Live sports FM actually on FM or just the internet? None of their online stuff mentions the FM frequency. (Don't panic, I am listening online).

It’s arguable that for good quality pubs Norwich is the best city in the UK. I’d certainly put it up there with ooh Manchester & Newcastle. That would be one of the main attractions of KL no question. However it’s all currently academic as Warrington lead 2-1 with 25 to go.

I'd rather not go to kings Lynn than go to Warrington.

It's 3-2 kings Lynn with 5 to go in et

Purely from a financial point of view I'd have preferred Warrington. Anyway it's not to be as Kings Lynn have held on...

I have never been to King's Lynn, nor to Norfolk in fact, so at least it will be another county ticked off, but I have always had the impression it's another Boston - a nice town but with a "welcome" for any visitors.

In my experience SH you have it right. Quite a way from Norwich too.

Long time since I had a night out in Norwich, but I rate York above both Manchester and Newcastle

Thought Warrington would win this one and looking forward to some beer in Stockton Heath - Don't recall any hassle with the stewards during my two visits last season ?

See Salford did it today in the 'how to buy success' final. Surprised only 8000 at the game though
