Conference North betting 2019-20

First set of odds released. Obviously even pre-AGM far too early but I suspect we will be right up there in the betting. Darlo & Kettering to come in I’d wager. Not too bad for a first pass anyway.

Lump on Darlington each way, also if similar for relegation worth putting a few quid on BPA

I agree. It's obviously very early days, but those odds don't look too well informed.
Darlington have got a good manager and have made some good signings who have come with him, so they do look a serious threat to the likes of ourselves and Spennymoor who should be around the top.

At the other end, I think Curzon could struggle.

Not so sure about Curzon, kept milner and just signed rob evans former wrexham player not too shabby

Darlo and Kettering the ones that look too long. BPA probably the ones looking too short.

If they make the big teams the favourites at this level, eventually they'll be right like we've seen with Stockport every year.

I see in today’s NLP that Kettering have not only lost their title winning manager, but also their top scorer and rumours others will follow out of the door in a row over money. I wouldn’t be betting on them then.

If we eliminate every team that is transition, chaos, confusion or disarray I wonder how many contenders that actually leaves?

York have signed Maguire from Blyth, there won't be too many stronger signings at this level than that one.

Who was that really strong winger who played for them in the playoff, he was involved in the first goal. He looked really good. Wonder if he is staying put or has gone/going. There seems to be a mass exodus at their place at the moment.

If you're thinking of Jarrett Rivers, he's gone to Darlington.

He was their FA Cup hero a few years ago when they stuffed us en route to beating Hartlepool (where he scored the winner on TV), which got him a move to Blackpool. He didn't break through there, and ended up back at Blyth.

That's the one Marple Alty; I think Darlington will be quite strong next season and up amongst us near the top.

Paddy Power odds now up. Alty 10-1, York 11-2 favourites. Darlington a very tempting 20-1, Hereford might just be worth a tickle at 22-1.

Money were mouth is & £20 on Alty at 11/1 yesterday with Bet365 to win the Conference North. York still the overwhelming favourites in the betting incidentally. I’ve seen them as low as 5/2 now.

Hoping the 12/1 at Fred holds until Wednesday as I will head in store to back at the best price. Also fancy doubling us up with Ashton Utd.

The Racing Post tipster has tipped Brackley at 12/1 and Blyth at 25/1 to win the league. They have also tipped Chorley(3/1) and Stockport(12/1) to be relegated from the Conference.
