Major initiative

Details of Alty Rewards, an exciting new scheme aimed at giving supporters the chance to contribute to the club's success is on the website now. As the name suggests, there are rewards, some of them innovative.

I do hope this gains traction with the supporters. Some good rewards as well. Good initiative in my mind.

That does look an excellent idea, a good way for Exiles who can’t do many home games to feel like they are making an active contribution-I’ll definitely get involved.

Two things.

What are the major ground improvements that have been started?

Why do I have to select how much I want to pay before the web page tells me what the scheme offers?

Use the club website article to read the rewards details and then click through onto the sign up link to sign up accordingly?

Looks like the digital patreon was taken on board.

Some good ideas here; but feel like this may have been launches a little haphazardly

The article doesnt say major!  Some of the improvements have been benches in the Pop/Golf corner, Libero using the shed, the stadium PA system upgraded, Keiths snack bar now serving the full range of food including chips and a bottle bar for every game.

OK i'll hold me hands up and admit I didn't scroll down further than the link which I immediately clicked thinking it was taking me to a site about the rewards scheme.

and I took the word major from the initiative. I would have been hoping that the ground improvements actually improved something, such as repairing broken concrete and installing (and maintaining) bird netting.

Honestly, there's no pleasing some people.

Concrete was repaired over the summer and the P.A. is miles clearer. It's godd enough for public safety announcements now! Well done to those involved

The PA is much improved, pity about the sh*te that gets played over it - especially the one that reminds me frighteningly of one of my exes ("Right here ! Right now !"). The next part of the lyric should be "You've missed the turning !". It was usually two streets further along.

Yup, the music we play pre games and at half time is absolute toilet.
