What a result, congrats to all concerned, put the GREY KIT issue to bed.

No chance with only one win in it. Still feel it makes a big difference.

Our confidence won that game.

To be fair I can understand the complaints about the grey kit. It's not the most visible.

I mean I can see why the colour isn’t some people’s favourite but some of the comments on here about it have been ludicrously OTT & beyond parody.

I have poor eyesight and age related macular degeneration (dry). Given the grey weather I struggled to see our players at the far end. By contrast Tony stood out clearly. I know that's just me but it's true about lack of visibility.

It’s not just you. Grey is an invisible colour, full stop. I’m not aware of any research into football strip visibility but here’s some into car colour:
What is the most dangerous car color?

As it turns out, black is the most dangerous car color with grey/silver a close second.

What is the safest car color?

According to our research, yellow is the safest car color with white coming in a close second.

We don’t want a car crash against Portsmouth. Maybe we’ll play in our home kit.

Brilliant performance today.
We picked out  our players so well.
Let’s just get on with the grey kit.
Well done ALTY,
We are all there next Saturday

No, that’s wishful thinking. The grey doesn’t help one bit. A murky day like today needed a bright colour.

portsmouth play in the blue shirts and white shorts. there is no reason why altrincham wouldn't play in the regular red and white shirts and black shorts.

That is a top result.

Just hoping everyone remained fit.

Well done lads. Keep this going and let's get at Portsmouth.

Any reports on this?

No obvious injuries

Excellent news. Thanks.

They'll take us into their hearts in the red & white stripes I'm sure of it.  :-\
