Free tickets

Back in the 80's/90's I remember getting free tickets from school to come and watch Alty.  It got me hooked, for one, and there's a few others I know of who still come.  Anyone else become a fan through tickets from school?  Is this something the club still does?  In our current excellent form, it would be a great time to get some people of school age through the gates, hopefully get (sucker) them to become lifelong Alty fans.

We should let any under 16 ticket holder from Portsmouth free for the remainder of the season.

Great Idea, at high school in Irlam the rugby team all recieved season tickets from Salford Rugby (as part of the transfer of the village from Manchester to Salford) and we were hooked (along with Alty through family connections), a number of locals went on to represent the club.

Approaching my sixties and an Alty fan for over fifty years I see a great change as the fan base becomes younger, Alty are still the prime non-league club in the north, lets make the most of it.
