Curzon Ashton Match Thread 2
« on: December 29, 2019, 12:49:46 PM »

Although they were complete parcel on Boxing Day yesterdays result shows there must be team in there. This coupled with Williams and probably White absentees it's a tougher game than it was 24 hours ago.

Assume Wall and Peers will be back in the squad so it will be a full bench without upgrading reserve outfield players in.

Harrop did enough to keep his birth, after that team picks it's self.

Alty 3-0 Curzon. Hulme x 2, Harrop.

White didn't look so bad when he went off tbh. Having said that, Connor did brilliantly when he came on and we should keep the same 11 that started the second half.
Wall, Peers and Taylor makes for a very lopsided bench however and it wouldn't surprise me to see a reinforcement or two brought in very soon.

Yes, if Williams is going to be out for any length of time we need a proven midfielder asap

Which Alty will turn up?

After Southport we should be thinking about a comfortable Alty win, but we've proven we can have dreadful performances such as at BPA. For me the jury is still out.

Whitey, believe came off ill, went home as has similar to what Peers and a few others have had. So maybe back in squad on Wednesday. Wall was injured.

Curzon will battle, so if we turn up with 'A' game then no reason why we cant get a positive result. Lets keep the momentum going.

Come on Alty.

Wall sent home as he had flu or similar and was coughing everywhere, sensible precaution.

Having seen the highlights of the Southport game (I was there) and the space we found, the quality of the goals and chances created in the second half I am confident of a win.

The first goal is crucial, if we score that they'll have to be more open and vulnerable. I

Come on the red and whites.
