I'm sure there were many others who post on here who can say they were at that game too. Tom Kearney was a Rolls Royce of a player before his serious injury.

Coburn; Densmore, Havern, Hannigan, White; Watmore, Richman,. Moult, Clee; Reeves, Hulme.

Subs Thompson, Young, Poole, Little, Walshaw.

That's pretty much spot on for me. Much of Little's best work for us was in the previous decade so him being on the bench even though he is a total legend is fair. Most talented player in the 2010s was Duncan Watmore, obviously the famed individual goal at home to Corby but I recall more the away game against the same team where we were about 4-0 up in 30 minutes and he simply blew them away.

Favourite matches off top of my head would be:
1. Guiseley play off final (obvs)
2. Macc 2014 with James Lawrie's flukey last minute winner
3. York City away FA Cup win
4. Beating Chester away win in a snowstorm Christmas 2014
5. Thrashing Stockport 3-0 at home in 2013.

I’m sure everyone will have their own criteria but, for me, we’ve had 2 comfortable mid-table National League finishes in the past decade. And so it would take something special for anyone to justify a place in a ‘team of the decade’ who didn’t play in either of those sides.

Coburn

Densmore
Hannigan
Havern
Doughty

Watmore
Cavanagh
Kearney
Clee

Little
Reeves

Subs:
Deasy
Young
Leather
Moult
Walshaw

Was thinking along the same lines, would say current squad has potential to match those “heady heights” with a little tinkering.

Wow. What a horrible task.

Probably  go with Mats with Moult instead of cavanah.

Coburn

Densmore
Young
Hannigan
White (I've not really been convinced by any of our left backs to the same extent as other positions)

Clee
Moult
Kearney
Watmore

Hulme
Reeves

Subs
Drench (I know he hasn't played enough games to justify this but I'd still pick him over TT when fit and the rest have never convinced)
Havern
richman
Little (pre-2010 vintage would replace Reeves)
JJ (just so I've got cover on both wings and can drop Nicky back to cover LB - I might be over thinking this!)

Subs Thompson, Young, Poole, Little, Walshaw.

This is closest for me, too - in a 442 the team picks itself apart from a centre back to partner Hannigan, and a left back (where we haven't had a real long-term standout performer) - was gonna go with Doughty but his first spell was pre-2010.

Surprised no mention of Leather so far.

I'd find places for JJ and Hancock from the current crop on the bench.

Adam Griffin was a fine left back at Conf North level, having also won the league with Hyde prior to joining Alty and winning promotion here. And he didn’t look out of place in our mid-table National League side either, before a considerable decline in his second Conference season.

Matt Doughty was a class player at left back, even in his second spell, and it was easy to see why he would likely have had an extensive football league career if not plagued by injuries and other off-field ‘issues’ in his younger days.

Which one you would put in a ‘team of the decade’ for the 2010’s is up for debate, but I certainly don’t think it’s a position where we’d struggle to find a worthy candidate.

I'd completely forgotten about Griffin, to be honest - I'd go with him.

I've decided my starting centre back is Havern, with Leather on the bench (as a utility full back too).

Who was Cavanagh? I have no recollection of him at all.
