Shame about conceding in stoppage time, but three more massive points. JJ's cross for Tom Peers to head home was absolutely top drawer.

You know you've got a poor set of officials when there's a 5 minute stoppage for floodliilght failure, and another 2 minutes for an injury, the board goes up for only 5 added minutes, and the ref only plays 4 ! Utterly bizarre.

I cannot ever remember racking up 15 points in less than a fortnight !

If we were only to draw on Saturday, we would be in the last play off spot, since Southport and Farsley have Trophy games. If we beat Guiseley, and Boston fail to beat Darlington, we'd go 6th. If (arguably less likely) Spennymoor fail to be beat Kettering, you can make that 5th !

If Darlington win their FA Trophy Replay tomorrow night, Boston will not have a game on Saturday.

I don't fancy Darlington to turn Solihull Moors over to be honest.

A glance at the form table; out of their last 8 games; BPA have played 7 teams in the top 9 (6 in the top 7) and lost all but us.

We'd be 5th without that debacle.

Sorry, that was my fault as I didn't go. Only away league game I've missed so far. I'll pay my penance and go to Spennymoor next week 🙄

Can't imagine Solihull would have been too focused on the Trophy with promotion to the football league on the cards.

We'd be 5th without that debacle.

First 11 games - 12 points, next 11 games 24 points. The last game of the first 11 was the 2-0 loss at Kidderminster, our 5th defeat. Since then only King's Lynn have bettered our record. We can't be complacent though, those games without JJ, BPA included, showed how we miss both his threat but also the space he opens up for others. That said, to eventually grind out those two wins vs Curzon and overcome Leamington away shows we've a bit more grit this season - after that awful start.
