To us?
That would be really weird. I couldn't make the game today due to work, so I went to Southport Boston. Devarn was visibly annoyed to be substituted (as were the crowd). Ignored by Liam Watson too.

If Watson doesn't rate him that will do for me.

Get him in

Someone else on that thread, presume that’s where you’ve seen the rumour, has now said it’s Accrington

I heard that rumour first at Lem a couple of weeks back but clearly if we haven’t got it over the line now then there’s some complications, he’d be a valuable addition if we did get him.

Source is Tittle Tattle Twitter.  If true I would imagine that official confirmation will be given at tonight's meeting.  I am sure someone will ask.

... John who?

Mahon and Green (if true) are decent players. But no point pretending that we haven't been weakened today.

While JJ leaving may have come as something of a shock, there’s no point dwelling on what’s happened.....time to move on.  Judging by the tributes Chester fans are paying to Mahon, I think we may do alright out of this anyway; there’s no doubting JJ had the run of most defences in this league, but the same wouldn’t be true in the league above.  If we want to consider ourselves Nat League material, we need to be targeting players of that standard.

I haven't posted for ages because l dont attend the games now, but the team will move on without him. You cant blame any player at this level if he moves for more money and surely its better to have players that want to play for Altrincham? The management have moved quickly and decisively to replace him, hopefully with 2 players. We should welcome them and look forward to the remainder of the season.

Green is a very good player. Hits the deck a lot but he would do a decent job for us. Fingers crossed.

He hasn't impressed me much when I've seen him. If he was any good he'd stand out in that crap Southport team.
