Hope we've included a clause for him not to play either in the league or playoff games.

Disappointed but not surprised. Chesters management duos desire for publicity has always outweighed their ability as managers. You can only assume they’ve also been tapping up Jordan for a while now too.

And to add the photo shows two blokes holding a signed shirt, which might have been a joke about after a previous game...

Yeah i saw that photo on twitter around December time

Yes, it was actually first posted in November last year. Looks like utter bollocks to me.

I thought Mahon had signed for Ashton!

Sorry, it was on loan in December.

Guys, just to clarify - the image floating around of John with a Chester shirt was take a couple of months back when he collected it for a fundraiser in memory of his friend who had passed away.

Not saying this to give anyone hope. Just, them’s the facts on that. I’d buckle up for a bumpy day.

Chester doing something that Alty have failed to do this year - poach a known name from another club.

Sick of our small club mentality.

If he goes best of luck to him. We are supposed to be evolving, this is evolution. If he doesn’t then fine, but we still
Need to evolve as a team either way.

JJ has always enjoyed playing for us, why would he suddenly be unhappy. And how can Chester suddenly afford all this money when they are a fans owned club. Same goes with Jordan too. Alty fans have a special bond with their players which is a two-way thing. JJ would be wrong to walk away from that.

Ooh, that's a coincidence, SuperRobins11 started both the JJ and JH threads off.

Although I know where you are coming from I'm not sure that all clubs might say they have a special bond.  End of the day both players have played for the manager before and its clear they admire them both.  Lets just wait and see.

And the account is now deleted. They've done their job.
