Gutted to see him go, now short of wingers, is there now truth behind the rumours of Jordan Hulme??

However good Mahon may be, he's 30. Our squad is getting to a point where we need decent experienced younger players as a priority.

Mahon is a winger.

Noticed the Jordan thread has now been removed, as well as the club adding details of JJ/Craig Mahon transfer.

The fact he's gone to a play off rival and the timing absolutely stinks. I wish him and Chester nothing but bad luck.

I won't be missing Chesters visit to ML.

The powers that be had no choice, there was a clause in JJ’s contract so it says. Craig Mahon takes a better corner than JJ so every cloud and all that.

Use the money to get a disgruntled player from Macc or Ceesay on a more permanent deal.

Good luck to JJ, has been very good for us at this level.
Can't really stand in his way if he wants more money (that is providing they pay wages OK, don't go bust and have their results expunged).

If Craig Mahon is fit and ready to go (which PP says he is) then this could be a good deal all round (providing we've got the "substantial fee" for JJ paid up OK and can get some quality in).

Welcome to Alty Craig.

Admin are going to lock this thread now unless there is any big objection. We don’t really want ten pages of JJ this JJ that. Good bye and thank you. It is now in the past, time to look forward to some great news this evening.
