Not our problem unless they forget to pay the money for JJ.

On March 21st, when JJ returns to Moss Lane with his new mates, he can probably expect to learn the difference between a warm welcome and a hot reception.

Why?? Who’s arsed, yesterday’s news now. We’ve had such a great evening at the club tonight. I’m more interested in who’s coming in before the window closes. Been a long time since we’ve had such a positive meeting

The focus is on the road ahead....

Coming to his peak. Offered good money and full time football. He has a young family and wedding to pay for. We had him for 2 and half great seasons.

I love Alty and I am gutted but his family are more important and football is not a lifetime career in the lower leagues. I don't expect anyone to clap him but will be disappointed if he is given abuse. He gave 100% in all games.

Put it to bed and move forward. I saw clips from the meeting tonight and this club is on the right path and has been since PP and Sorvs stepped through the door.

Spot on

How many people have left their jobs to work for more money or to be nearer home etc etc....

The fans will sing whatever they want about him, that’s their choice..
I expect an extremely high percentage of us forumites would have done exactly the same if it was us.
I personally thought JJ was good for Alty and always gave his best effort.
OK he was sometimes a bit of a luxury when things weren’t going well on the pitch.
I would welcome him back when he returns with Chester. (Hoping he has an off day)
Good luck to the lad.

What usually happens, is the returning player is simply ignored. I suppose, in a psychological sense, that's much worse than receiving verbal abuse (which is expected).

We should give wage theives like Twiss a load of grief. Blokes who gave of their best to Alty deserve better.

Spot on Back Roads. JJ gave plenty to us, and was a joy to watch when he was on song. While I don't like Chester or their management, I wish him all the very best. When he plays against us, I'm sure we'll have coping strategy.

Exactly... Mr Twiss was a great example of an Oxygen Thief during his time at Alty...
