I said maybe...

Johnson was a little bit Snakey

But after all.......

We've got lukey Wall

Who isn't good enough.

Makes me laugh as I would say 99% of people would have taken that deal if you were JJ. I am gutted but a grand a week for 52 weeks with a young family. Unfortunately this will always happen in non league.

Agreed. Gutted he's gone, was my favourite player, but good luck to him.

If he went for £100 more than I understand him getting stick but as PP said, they couldn't get near what Chester offered JJ.
I still found myself singing the songs though 😬

Andrew Dawber was as much use as Princess Leiea....

That's outrageous, Princess Leia was a courageous and selfless space age warrior leader and role model for strong women everywhere!

Dawber meanwhile was last reported to be at Charnock Richard - a suburb of Chorley - in the North West Counties league - but doesn't appear to have played a game of competitive football since he played for us.   ;)

JJ was a cracking player for us, who entertained and put his heart into every game he played for us.  Not happy with the songs against him today - agree Back Roads - any one of us would take the money if raising a young family and quite right too.  Does every player who ever moves onto another club have to be branded Judas? Rather than showing a bit of appreciation for the contribution they have made - and JJ made a huge contribution to the revival of the club these last 3 seasons. Its either irony or it isn't very classy

He definitely played a handful of games for Charnock but appears to have dropped out of the game. He was at Fulham the season before signing for us! Other early retirees from the Neil Young reign of terror include fellow goalkeeper Callum Preston, the initially promising Sam Patterson and one time Southport prospect Charlie Joyce.

Parkinson put an arm around him, and made him to the player he was. He's dropped him for some cash. He's left the players who've put him in the shop window.

We've got from up 1 level. He's hardly carried us.
If you don't like the songs, sing some others.

Chester are   hybrid this season so not  strictly full time although a 52 week  contract on 1k  week does sound very good especially if someone has another job .
