Jordan Hulme.... strategy
« on: January 26, 2020, 05:36:58 PM »

With the chester disrespectful prick at it again..
Jordan deserves full time football.
So if chester make a bid and jordan wants to go..
Put him on the transfer list and let a decent outfit come in for him.

If the club rolls over for chester ill be fuming...
If i were jordan id be fuming at the chester boss using him to boost his growing ego on twitter..

Pretty sure he said he’s got himself an agent now when asked by Seddon on the podcast recently.

Jordan does deserve full time football. But at a big Conference National club, not Chester.

They aren't full time they are hybrid but maybe jj has signed as a full timer and Jordan would potentially do the  same

Have you actually got any facts to support this?

Like many, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jordan go. If he's been offered similar to JJ (full-time on £1k p/w) then that should be enough to secure him.

I'm not a fan of keeping players against his will if he really wants to go (and of course he might not), it's how we make the most of it that counts.

Another 'substantial' fee and a player coming the other way - either permanently or at least on loan until the end of the season when we can recruit properly - might be the best way to go.

Do they need Jordan as much as JJ? They've got wingers either side now (Jackson and JJ) and Asante and Dudley up front... maybe ask for Dudley the other way?

Of course it's all complete speculation at the moment - driven mostly by that clown on Twitter.

Maybe I was being harsh. Cheshire Live doing their best as well.

" The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for Alty striker and a former player of Johnson and Morley's at Salford City, Jordan Hulme."

Haha thanks (assuming that was aimed at me and one or two others).

Let's see what happens.  :-\

Well if he is moving on you'd have had no way of knowing from last night, even by his standards he worked his absolute bollocks off all game. Didn't look like a player on the way out to me.

It might take a new contract offer to keep him. Fingers crossed.

To be honest, he's better than both us and Chester, so he might as well wait until a bigger club come in for him (which I think will eventually happen).

As good as he is, I'm not sure it will happen with his age and the contract he is on here. With us until the end of 2020/21, so someone is going to have to pay a fair whack for a player that turns 30 this year.

Wouldn't begrudge him a move upwards, but he's far better than a sidewards step to a side we could very well finish higher than.

I think Jordan is a lot smarter than he looks (sorry if you read this)...

There's every chance he viewed his release by Salford as his last chance at the FT gig, especially given his age now, he might do alright with his day-job and might be happy enough with his lot at Alty, we love him and have really looked after him at his time of need - and of course he's repaid us in bucketloads during that time too.

Very different situation to JJ who has the best part of a decade ahead of him. And even taking age into account, I know which one I'd rather keep (and to be honest I'd be more devastated at ever losing Hancock now).
