Thanks for the You Tube memory!
It was one of three games featured that Saturday night, and there also highlights of Peterborough v Watford kicking around! The third game was QPR v Gillingham.

Remarkable footage Cult......very well played to dig that out.

I met Cliff Michelmore in the Piccadily Hotel in May 1977, having been on a Piccadilly Radio programme called 'School Rock' hosted on a Thursday evening between 8 & 10pm by Ray Teret :o :o :o :o :o

After the programme the boy Teret took the 3 of us from Sale Boys Grammar (Stephen Houfe, Phil Brooks & me) to the Piccadilly Hotel for a beer & introduced himself & the 3 of us to the aforementioned Mr. Michelmore & there followed a fairly detailed conversation about a David Frost interview that had recently been on TV.....it may have even been earlier that evening,

I always remember the briefing that Ray Teret gave the 3 of us at the start of the programme, which was 2 hours worth of our favourite music.
"You can say anything you want lads, apart form things like you shag the girls at Sale Girls Grammar'. ;D ;D ;D
