Interesting to note that all levels of rugby league games are still taking place - with the exception of any involving international travel.

It would make a lot of clubs unhappy, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. It would have quite the opposite effect at Bolton. And I won't be feeling sorry for Leeds any time soon.

All games should now played behind closed doors to finish the season off. Otherwise the players and management efforts over the season will have all been for nothing.

Unfortunately that won't work where the virus has already affected the staff at a fair number of clubs.

It's tough with no sport as such to get into. The June date may be too early but what a boost to those still self isolating then. Pick a club and get involved.

I really can't see National League clubs playing again this season with contracts for players ending at the latest early May .Even starting next season in August is optimistic  with this not expected to peak until June or July .

I do accept that. I know I need positivity to get me through all this, and even the prospect of League of Ireland footy in June would be a great thing to many. It would be a step in getting some sense of normality back.

Chins up Alty.

The Highland League have declared their season over and handed the title to Brora Rangers, 13 points clear at the top. Will other leagues follow suit?

Makes sense.  Bit closer in the lowland league, though it hardly matters really. There will be no play-off or promotion this season.

I wouldn't be so sure on there being no promotion, but we shall wait and see.

We shall. Not that it matters in the scheme of things.

Keep well Robins.

One school of thought would be to complete this season when time allows say August/September through to say October/November and as far as the 2020/21 season goes just play each team once. Not ideal but at least there would be 2 seasons. SBL
