Hi all, does anybody know where we stand with the player contracts for the playoffs, do we have all the squad available? Are their contracts extended to cover any playoffs etc?

You'd image the players didn't spend the morning scrubbing the away end to end up at Curzon next season  ;D

As far as I know, most, if not already on contract, have had their contract extended.
Not like other clubs.

I'm taking no news as good news to be honest.

What got me thinking was the opportunity to bring in much bigger players that have already been released elsewhere - just for the playoffs...

I guess there's something to be said for squad cohesion, but if someone like Duncan rocked up to Moss Lane with his boots on  :o

Unless a player has joined another club; wouldn't all CN players still be attached to their current employer as they would have been furloughed from March?

I think this is the key thing.

We haven't had anyone poached when we probably could have by now.

Lots of clubs could be in a very different position come September or October. The more continuity we can keep, the better placed we will be.

I was disappointed to read that Redditch United had beaten us to the signing of Kyle Perry.

He can be useful in a play-off game.....

Talking of which, I don't think anyone has picked up Greg Wilkinson since he was released by Stalybridge Celtic just before the lockdown started....
