See the official club website for details of a huge turnout at The J.Davidson Stadium on Monday lunchtime to salute the funeral cortège of George Heslop & a tribute to the great man that was printed in the the limited edition match programme for the Play-Off Elimination Round game against Chester

I wish I could have been there myself to show my respects to the greatest clubman we have had, and will ever have.  Missing him like mad already and I just wish he could have hung in there long enough to see us win the playoffs last weekend.-

He will have be smiling the broadest of smiles on his beloved Moss Lane from up in heaven though, that's for sure.

I do hope that there was a respectable turnout yesterday.
