There should be a broad update on season tickets on the website some time this afternoon, but the plan is for the season tickets to be with you all early in the week of the 28th September.

There's an update on the official club website now.

I presume the number of season tickets sold will be less than 1000 (of course I shan't complain if it's more!), but in the unlikely event that there turns out to be more season ticket holders than places available, are there any plans for what will happen?

We'll be having a socially distanced celebration!

1000 would more than double the record ( i think )

Yes, I had a feeling it would! Unusual times though - a surge of optimism coupled with uncertainty about what will happen should at any rate see the record comfortably broken. I know that people who would not normally get a season ticket will be considering it. But is the assumed minimum capacity (if any fan return happens) of 1000 guaranteed? What if they said it's now 15% of minimum Conference capacity (about 600)? It might be an idea to have plans in place unless this (or 1000 plus season tickets!) can more or less definitely be ruled out.

pretty sure it's not 903 season tickets, aren't people buying 2 season tickets counted as 1 order on this for a start?

So on for 600 plus potentially. And if that's the "capacity"? Though saying that, I wouldn't count on good news re. the return of fans this week!

Not a hope. If the league are adamant about not starting without fans in the ground then we can forget October the third.
