Another tough assignment against a team that won 5-0 at the weekend.

They seem to have a lad on loan from Aston Villa at the moment, which shows the type of resources we're up against.

Midweek trips away from home are always a bit of a leveller though, it would be great to squeeze another point.

We win this after holding out for a rather saucy two one victory.

You are absolutely spot on about their lad on loan from Aston Villa, Cameron Archer, who plays up top for Solihull and is undoubtedly their most dangerous player.  Like Eastleigh, Solihull line up with a three at the back formation which is interesting because I've always thought we've fared pretty well against these sort of systems during the Parky-era.

Their wingers, Ball and Sbarra are also both dangerous and both like to operate in the inside channels.  However, Ball seems to be more of a player that likes to come a little deeper and pick the ball up and run at defenders (bit like Matty Kosylo and Dan Mooney) whereas Sbarra is more of a traditional get-in-behind sort of winger and frequently switches with Archer.  Their midfield is made up of Maycock and Gleeson (Storer may start in place of Maycock) with the former playing more as a box-to-box whilst Gleeson plays more like a DM and sits in front of the defence.  They're wing-backs are Williams and Cranston who both normally operate out wide but both sometimes like to come inside and both are capable shooters so possibly something to watch out for.  Their back three will be made up of any three of Howe, Carter, Hancox, Coxe and Gudger.  They have a good, strong defence and they are also pretty big compared to us so unfortunately it will probably be another physical game where we have to be 100% at defending set pieces but we should be up to it after a great display at a similarly challenging Eastleigh.

A draw tomorrow would be a fantastic result.

@altyfan101

Your last sentence is a concern every team we play in this league are going to be a step up for us  but we cannot say a draw against each team will be a good result.we need to turn draws into victories starting tomorrow 40 odd points is unlikely to keep you in this league.
For the record I am going for a 2-1 victory tomorrow.

The old maxim of 50 points for safety should be more true than ever this season with only 44 games to play.
A good win for us tomorrow and we're 10% there! 😉

Maidenhead won last night away at Wrexham.

Draws aren't good enough over a season.

Senior and Sutton impressed on Saturday.

With Williams unlikely to start those pushing for Malarkey to move into midfield might get their wish.
Would imagine top 4 will stay the same.

Whilst a draw would not be catastrophic,  a win is needed asap

For me the outcome could be determined by the state of the pitch. Hoping it has dried out to suit our style of play.

I’m not having a dig at anyone but the pitch could have a large say in how well we do this season. Hoping for a dryish Autumn/Winter.

Personally I would be happy with another draw tonight against yet another good outfit.
