In the NWCL they’ve rearranged the fixtures so clubs in the same tier areas play each other until the country comes to its senses

Seems clear that the Hartlepool game will be moved to Wednesday, we wouldn’t have moved to Sunday otherwise. Perhaps the Covid tests / results / isolations is the reason for the Fylde game going back a day?

Do we know if the Fylde game is available for streaming?

This game is to be played behind closed doors, however fans will be able to watch as The Coasters will be streaming the tie live & will be announcing details as soon as possible.

Very poor if Hartlepool haven't allowed us to play Wednesday if Brian's saying the game is still Tuesday.

Surely the league would not object, and I can't see us wanting 24 hours less to rest (unless its work patterns for some of our players).

Just to clear up confusion here as to why we haven't posted anything or added it to our website yet, it seems someone on Fylde's end jumped the gun yesterday and tweeted confirmation of the fixture being moved to Sunday without a joint announcement time between the clubs being agreed, or indeed complete confirmation that the fixture is moving just yet.

Just for clarification,
With new restrictions, I guess the youth can still play on Thursday,

Yes, as tier 3 restrictions start on Friday.

When are we playing Fylde,

Not yet confirmed by AFC Fylde but it seems that the most likely date is Sunday 25th.

When are we playing Hartlepool .

Tuesday October 27th @ 7.45pm.

I assume we can play these games because we are an elite team.

Non-elite teams also have fixtures scheduled & going ahead as well.

Responses in blue above, Bryan.

Actually, looking at the advice which the Cheshire FA sent out today, there are no further restrictions on youth teams, so the youth team can still travel and entertain other clubs in spite of tier 3 status.

In contrast, it looks very awkward for the reserves in the step 7 Cheshire League as their home ground is in tier 2 Cheshire East, while most of the players, presumably, are based in tier 3 Greater Manchester, and players of that level are not supposed to travel out of a tier 3 area.

Does anyone know if the profit from the stream is split between the two clubs For a cup match in the same way the gate receipts would be?

A good question, but I'm guessing it goes to the home team as I doubt there is any FA rule on this.

Which means should we prevail against Fylde we break the run of 7 away draws in the next round with a home tie.

Yes they are!  For the FA competitions, streaming money is treated as gate money and shared between the clubs

Why would they want it switched if not for TV?

Thanks for info.

On that Glyn, we have got to thank Fylde for being understanding. Not sure about Hartlepool

Thanks Bill

It surprises me then that Fylde are giving free access to their season ticket holders, surely this can’t be allowed?

[/Half that giveaway is ours. That loophole needs closing if it hasn’t been already.]
