I know it's irrational, but is anyone else irked by the constant reference to the home team as 'Ilkinston' and 'Ilkestone'?

Reminds me annoyingly of the Altrincham Town and Altringham scenarios.

PS. We'll have a game on our hands on Tuesday/Wednesday (delete as appropriate) night next week.

Chester and Stockport both out so if we beat Fylde it will be FC United away no doubt.

Great results for Marine and Skelmersdale, too - I'm sure Neil Young will have enjoyed that one. Has JJ actually scored for them yet? I notice he was subbed after an hour.

Skem v Wigan in the next round would be good

What an entertaining read on devachat. Starting with bold yet deluded optimism and finishing with the hilarious quote which had me in stitches “Neil Young masterclass”
