Even though I don't agree with him, I took it to mean the prize money for winning plus the amount for losing in the next round. (could be wrong yet again) 😉

Spot on Saughall, have an imaginary Goodwin 😁

It - of course - could be more.

He probably did mean that but that is rubbish.
That’s like saying if we lost to Man U in a later round we would have threw away whatever the amount was for beating them for God’s sake.
Ok we weren’t brilliant that day but I’m afraid that’s life...

A bit of reality needed here me thinks.

Not really, had we beaten Fylde, regardless of anything else, in the game that were were so poor, we'd have £16k. Regardless of anything else happening.

That 16k is 50% of what fans raised in the midst of a recession and Pandemic.

Not sure that pessimism has much to do with facts.

Whilst your  word choice amused me, hope you're okay OFIG, tough times atm!

How long have we had trouble scoring from Pens on a regular basis i mean

Ever since Warren Peyton missed that pen against Luton I've never felt confident when we've taken them (with the exception of Durrell).
