Weymouth v Halifax
« on: December 06, 2020, 08:36:17 AM »

I’m first in the queue for a drink and some raucous nonsense at the football, but when we finally get the green light to return to The J Davidson stadium, let’s keep our sh*t together. I feel really sorry for Weymouth here. There’s no mention of the pitch invader in the article either

I'm hoping that there will be clear comms from the club regarding singing etc.

Some clubs have chanted and sang for 90 minutes. Some. Just applauded

Good post. Pete..   Sadly there is always the odd T**t who will spoil it for everybody.

Let’s hope it all goes well when we get the OK at Alty..

A few short weeks ago we couldn’t even see the tunnel, now the light at the end of it is getting bigger and brighter.

Onwards & Upwards.

I saw a few clips on Twitter last night from behind the goal when Weymouth had just scored & knew they’d be in trouble. I guess this is the issue with social distancing in grounds that are primarily composed of terracing but I’d like to think we’d self-police much better & our greater number of seats than Weymouth should help too. I know the Board are all over it because I think it’s a safe bet Trafford will go into Tier 2 next week. Just hope we get a home FAT draw to do a test run as Stockport at home wouldn’t be the ideal game for us to re-introduce fans to.

I'm not sure what to make of this, I don't see what is wrong with drinking and smoking at football.
On the other hand, if they are openly and deliberately breaking rules, and this leads to less fans being allowed in then this is very stupid indeed.

Weymouth, in my view, have had a group of fools follow them for years. Just an opinion.

I am not surprised they couldn't hold it together for two hours.

Incredibly frustrating for fans who will now not get to future games because of others bellendery.

When we get back to Moss Lane we'll do better I am sure.

I’m expecting government guidance with regard to which songs we can sing, at what volume and regularity. We need some clarification about how to clap and offer encouragement to our team. Do the hand washing directives apply on a Tuesday?

Wonderfully satirical!
