I ask because, as I understand, the WHO has updated its PCR guidance, and now recommends a second test to confirm a PCR positive test result. I trust that the authorities and the National League will make any necessary changes to their protocols and practices to reflect this guidance.

(And yes, "London" Alty, this is relevant to Altrincham fc first team. Isn't it. I'll leave any side tracking to others - for now..)

PS Best wishes to the player concerned, I hope he is "recovering" well.

I think given that tests are not mandatory in the league that its likely a player or staff member had symptoms and then went for a normal swab test
