The one that includes plenty of footage of Moss Lane circa 1965. Plus Susan George:

would be interesting to know the other locations. i think its only the end thats filmed in hale. A lot of it seems to be flimed around Eccles. i think the power station in the background in one scene could be Barton.

Edit: I think the fact they are called Barton United is a bit of a giveaway.

Yes, Winton Park in Eccles  is used in the opening scenes.

The lad who keeps smacking his head on the dugout roof. Very funny.

If you google Kirkman Avenue which is the street they keep practicing on, it really exists in Peel Green which is close to the Barton Swing Bridge.

Patricroft Recreation Park is shown nearby which looks like the park they are chased off by the park
keeper.

Some interesting shots of Old Trafford including the old ticket office windows and the construction underway of the original cantilever stand built for the 1966 World Cup.

Anyone else think that Barton’s trainer/kitman could be a young Fozzie ? !

 ;D

My favourite Fozzy memory was on the coach to Alfreton one Autumn and as we past an autumnal tree, Jamie Newhall said "I thought I saw Fozzie's hair go past!"

Kirkman Avenue takes me back, the boat I used to have was moored almost opposite Kirkman Avenue. The power station is now a B and Q (the last I heard).
