Nice gesture regarding streaming
« on: March 05, 2021, 11:55:29 AM »

There were plenty of angry comments on here the other night about the streaming quality, and rightly so.

Last night however, I received an email entitling me to a discount on our next stream, and I would like to say that I think this is a great gesture from the club when trying to make amends for those issues - it shows that the club recognises and is addressing the problem.

It can't just be me who received it, so if not: check your emails! : )

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, I haven't seen it on any other thread.

Yet another good reason to be an Alty fan (if one were needed!)

It is a nice gesture. If you open the email properly you can see that it has been sent to everyone who bought the stream.

Lovely gesture by the club.

Apart from the love of the club we should also remember we had half price streaming for our 2nd game at FCUM v Bromley so we have already had our discount.

I know so many fans will not be wanting the discount nonetheless

No mention of any 'gesture' for those of us who are season ticket holders though....

Don't worry. We'll get first crack at the stand seats when speccies are allowed back into ML! 😉

PS. Hopefully 🤞

I did wonder about that but decided to refrain from comment. I was just glad we had won and would gladly have traded the missed 20 minutes for a win after 5 defeats on the bounce. I will gladly take that, and the team seem to have their mojo back, bet they are wishing they could play today, but Tuesdays game may be a Stelling wind-up hopefully! Wondered if he was doing Sky Sports news that day.

As someone who hasn't received any such email, may I ask what discount the club have offered in relation to the impending Hartlepool fixture? Half price, perhaps?

Yes, it is a five pound discount, so essentially half price.

Many thanks for that clarification.

I have written to Bill Waterson in order to elicit his thoughts on any potential compensatory measure being extended to season ticket holders.

I am hoping to get something out this evening but I have been laid low the last couple of days after receiving my vaccine.
