Would have taken a point after ten minutes....but disappointing in the end.

Would have liked to see a replay of the goal and maybe the red card

I really enjoyed that. Thanks RR.

Could, perhaps, should have won that but I am pleased with a point against a team aiming to go top.

Well done Alty.

Ultimately a frustrating outcome but they were the better side when it was 11 versus 11.

It's a broken record but the absence of a proven striker has handicapped us yet again.

I'm struggling to recall a worse performance as a substitute than Dan Mooney's!

Dan Mooney was dreadful, poor lad!

He won't ever play much worse than that.

How much do we miss having a number nine?
Not having a pop at anyone because they all put a shift in but playing the best sides in this league without a target man puts more pressure on everyone and it's like fighting with one hand tied behind your back.

PS. As other people have said, I'd have settled for a draw at kick off but...

Superb game. One point against even a 10 man Hartlepool is no bad result; they were resolute in defence and always a danger.
Senior my MotM.

Pitch looked and played very well, further justifying the decision to rest it, expecially seeing some of the pitches on Sky Sports news!

Gibson was looking very good before he was injured and Peers did not play badly, but he is better behind a No9

Far too much side to side passing and backwards. Not enough penetration on their goal.Mooney awful wen he came on.

The stream worked well tonight, much improved (although missed the red card due to a replay being shown).
Thought Zouma and Senior did well.
Hartlepool defended well in great numbers, we might have needed 3 or 4 of our wingers /forwards on form to break through it. We didn't have that tonight and a couple of our forwards simply don't get their shots on target enough. Their keeper looked vulnerable (see our goal) so a bit frustrating but not a bad result overall.

Please correct me if I am wrong.....but did their keeper make a save second half.

We just never tested him after his error in the first half.

Frustrating as it was Gibson having to come off early threw a massive spanner in the works.

Didn't test the keeper any where near enough and Mooney was dreadful. Ceesay was poor, but after that thought everyone else was decent.

If it had stayed 11 v 11 I wouldn't have fancied getting anything.

Hartlepool earned their point.

I'd have taken a point after ten minites.

Dan Mooney does a great James Laurie impression. Let's hope he doesn't persist with it

Let's hope it's not a John Laurie impression, or we are all doomed! Seriously, maybe he was brought back a bit too quickly?

I would have taken a point before the start, or after 10 minutes, but it was disappointing after our play in the first half of the second half, where, despite all our dominance in possession, we never really tested Killip beyond a couple of half-chances. Hartlepool defended well, and adjusted their team to cope better towards the end of the game. They have still never beaten us, but I can see why they are high in the table.
