Parky mentioned in an interview at end of Feb that Piggott had tweeked his knee and was out injured but hopefully would be back within a week...

Assume don't want to rush him as not matchfit and not played much for ages... even if started doubt would play 90mins due to fitness concerns... he hasn't been in any of last three squads (Parky preferring Gibson, Peers, Hardy & even Harrison)... think best could hope for is place on bench... may take while to get matchfit so could even be next season before see best of him...

Agree with assumption Dens, Hancock, Gibson, etc still out... problem area still striker and think may try Hardy there even though mainly a no.10 or winger really (instead of Peers who believe better coming off bench)...

I think Team could be (but who knows)...

                      Thompson
Senior   Hannigan   Zouma   Ogle
                   Moult       Smith
          Ceesay   Kosylo  Colclough
                            Hardy

Subs: Mullarkey, Connor, Williams, Mooney, Peers.

Predict result: Aldershot 1-3 Alty (Kosylo, Moult, Zouma)...

Hope whoever we put out in the team we get a win... COYR!

This but swap Ceesay and Hardy around for me. Ceesay has arguably been our best centre forward this season

It doesn't matter how much we tinker with the line up - there is no target man at the club!
It's getting to the point, where I wouldn't mind Mullarky playing at 9. He's big and can play a bit so why not?

Not the worst shout. The best striker at the club may have been hiding in plain sight! 😃

Yes. I know what you mean.
I sort of apologised for bringing the striker situation up in an earlier post and certainly believe the club are fully aware of it!
I also believe that PP & co are doing all they can with the resources they have available to them and I'm sure, reading the forum as they possibly do, it doesn't help to see some of the comments on here .
I, for one, will be giving it a rest in that area for a while.

This team unless Hancock is fit, which I think he is.

Maybe put Connor back in for balance.

I have a feeling Peers will start on the wing, with Ceesay up top (as per when he came on the other day).

No idea whether he's fit enough to start yet, but I'd be intrigued to see Willo given a go at 10 in Josh's absence.

There was a hint Josh will be back this weekend, I would imagine he would be straight back in if so. I do hope so. As for whom should play No9, that's a huge debate.. I await to see what Parky thinks. I'm guessing Hannigan will be back in and maybe if Connor is fully fit, in for Ogle.

This is a game where we're going to be under pressure for long periods.
Whoever is picked up front needs to be someone pacy who can be a threat for us as the recipient of our 'out balls'.
Hope Hancock is fit.
