Pitch In fundraiser
« on: April 20, 2021, 08:28:59 PM »

Hi all.

The club's volunteers have been working hard on the pitch fundraiser over the last couple of months, taking inspiration from some of the suggestions on here.

Happy to say that this has now been launched. You can read more including some words from LL here: https://www.altrinchamfc.com/news/your-chance-to-help-make-alty-pitch-perfect

There are few different physical events explained in that article. We also have an Indiegogo page set up, similar to that of the Fan Zone last year: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pitch-in-for-altrincham-fc-s-new-playing-surface#/

Take a look and hopefully the club can count on your support to get this problem sorted once and for all!

Excellent idea, hope it raises loads of wonga.

Is there any chance of sponsoring a specific square of the pitch rather a random one?

Indeed, the last time that the club initiated such a pitch sponsorship fundraiser, you were able to select a particular square of the pitch. Hence me claiming the very spot from which the peerless Tunna scored his first goal at Moss Lane via a magnificent bullet header at the Golf Road End against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, 20th February 1993.

Also, is it possible to sponsor a specific corner flag?

After all, it would seem somewhat appropriate for me to sponsor the corner flag that is located drectly in front of the CSH i.e. the one which I can no longer see from my main stand seat.

Here is the link to the crowdfunder:

On here you select the 'sponsor a square' perk.

I don't see any reason why the corner flags shouldn't be sponsored multiple times if it keeps people happy

Great to see this doing so well... £10534 raised so far against target of £15k and still 46days left...

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pitch-in-for-altrincham-fc-s-new-playing-surface#/

Lots of good 'treats' to choose from including Grassroots Thank You card, Mugs, Time Capsule, Limited edition signed prints, Director for a Match, Sponsor part of the pitch or goalposts or penalty spot or centre circle, Commentate on a Game, play footy on the pitch, etc; all from £15 upwards... or even simply do a donation for any amount with no attached perk as a contribution...

Amazing there's 132 backers already... top effort so far!

See on Alty website can now pick a square on pitch including 7 historic moment related squares - see below... including Freeman's thunderbolt, Watmore's solo magic, Den's magic goal, or even Wilkinson's famous late playoff winner...
