PP interview
« on: July 23, 2021, 02:50:33 PM »

Very interesting watch. Says there will be one or two trialists with us over the weekend after training with us.
Noticed that Fisayo was there. Perhaps he's being given another chance to earn a contract seeing as he hasn't got a squad number.
Hope there are at least two more apart from him if I'm honest.
Promising that PP said what he called "top, top players" were keen to join us. We could do with at least two imho.

But also a concern is that they have closed the door on some of these top players to stick with lads who have been with us for the last few seasons.
We are still at least 3 players short, with CM being priority.

They'll almost certainly be about ten years younger at least.

Paul Mullin is only 26 years old though:

Unless Alty have suddenly been taken over by Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks (almost as photogenic a duo as Bill Waterson and Lawrence Looney), then I seriously doubt that we will be announcing similar signings of that calibre.

I think it's more Phil need to consider his use of superlatives. Remember Joe Piggott was our main man before leaving out the side door.
