A big thank you to the messenger and here's there FT report

FULL TIME - A hard fought, and well-deserved, point for Alty.

Considering they were 2-0 down with just 22 minutes on the clock, this really is a terrific result. Alty came in for some severe criticism on Saturday for folding after going behind but they certainly proved their doubters wrong tonight.

They showed tremendous strength of character to come back and claim a point and this will stand them in good stead ahead of the weekend's trip to Forest Green Rovers.

The selection of Senior was a good move by Heathcote, as he gave Alty a different option up front. His pace allowed them to get in behind the defence continually and he showed signs he could become a very important player this season.

There were plenty of candidates for man of the match but my choice is Karl Munroe. The centre half had a shaky opening 20 minutes, along with his defensive colleagues, but was absolutely outstanding for the remainder of the game.

Munroe dealt with anything in the air and also made some superbly timed challenges to deny Halifax any clear chances.

After the 4-1 defeat to Exeter, this was just what the Robins needed and proved there's plenty of life in the old birds yet.

Looks like Munroe and Tinson could be a strong partnership at the back.

Munroe played well. Had a dodgy start but then was solid after that. Val Owen didnt stop running and i think he was another competitor for MOM as was Chris Lane. Also Steve Aspinall played well at left back. He seems determined to prove me wrong, but i dont mind that. ;D

Well done to all the lads tonight and lets keep going for saturday.

I can't take the credit Darren...Connor Murphy is your man & I can tell you he works pretty hard throughout the game to provide updates.

Tinson had an shocking first 25 minutes where he made terrible mistakes one of wjich led to their first goal. However to be fair he showed charcter and finished the game on a positive note.

Fantastic result and what looked like a good game.

On another note if it was Brian, I would say more minutes and facts would be present =]
