Is there a sinister pattern emerging?
« on: August 16, 2007, 01:03:19 AM »

Now, I'm not one for conspiracy theories....but is it purely down to coincidence that Gareth Whalley has been the victim of a, shall we say, heavy tackle in both of our opening fixtures, which on each occasion has resulted in him having to withdraw from the action prematurely?

Earmarked as a potential danger man by any chance?

Give him chance, he has only been at the club two weeks or so, he probably doesnt even know all the players names yet.

Definitely agree there.
It will always be a case at this level that ex "stars" get clattered time and time again.

I think that you are probably right on this one Cult, particularly as he is not exactly a 'hard man' therefore an obvious target on a number of counts.
