FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round Fleetwood Town v FC United of Manchester, Saturday 15th September 2007 Kick Off 3pm

This game is to be played at Highbury Stadium, Park Avenue, Fleetwood, FY7 6TX

The capacity of the ground is 3300 and on police advice this game is to be all ticket. FC United will receive an initial allocation of 1600 tickets. The club has been in close discussions with the police and Fleetwood Town to secure an increase in our allocation. Due to segregation being in place this is difficult, as the ground does not easily lend itself to segregation. Fleetwood Town and FC United are tied by the police decision on this matter.

We are hopeful that this allocation could be increased if Fleetwood Town do not sell all their own allocation. FC United would like to extend our thanks to Fleetwood Town for their cooperation and help.

There will be no admission to the stadium on the day of the game without a valid ticket. For safety and security reasons, Fleetwood Town are not able to accept cash payment on the day.

Prices are:

£7 Adults

£4 Concessions

Due to time constraints we only have one home game at which to sell tickets and would ask supporters to bear with us whilst we try to ensure the best possible way of selling the tickets.

Tickets will be on sale from 11:00am from the ticket office at Gigg Lane before the Harrogate Railway Athletic game this Saturday 8th September 2007.

FC United members will be prioritised, sales to members will commence at 11am and will continue up until 1pm, once the members’ queue has been processed tickets will go on general sale. Members are asked to get to the ticket office early so that we can process applications as efficiently as possible. Those members arriving after 1pm will have to join the non-members queue.

Members must bring their membership card and proof of address. In the event of any members who have not received their membership card or in the case of any disputes over membership a ticket will be reserved pending confirmation of membership.

Members may purchase tickets for fellow members, but must bring membership cards for all those they wish to purchase tickets for.

Tickets will then go on general sale from 1:00pm onwards with a maximum of four tickets per person.

Postal applications will be taken from members only these must be received at the office by close of business on Friday and processed on Saturday. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the postal application arrives at the office in good time.

Please send a SAE and full remittance to:

Tickets

FC United of Manchester

221 Ducie House

37 Ducie Street

Manchester

M1 2JW

Members should quote their membership number with postal applications in order to ensure priority.

A further announcement will be made should any tickets remain after Saturday.

Please note that non-members can still sign-up as members of FC United. Membership gives you a say in how the club is run via a right to attend and vote at club meetings, and the opportunity to propose resolutions and stand for the board of the club. In order to sign-up as a member. Members can also join at the membership stall before home matches at Gigg Lane.

In deciding the methods of selling and allocating tickets for games where demand may outstrip supply, the staff and board of FC United have to make decisions which they believe are aligned with the ethos of the club. In prioritising membership when selling tickets in this way, we are recognising the fact that it is the membership who own and run the club, and therefore it should be ensured that they are given priority at times like this

Wow, Darren!
If Alty's attacks were as fast as your replies, we'd be heading for the play-offs at least,  :D :D

If Fleetwood can't handle a game against a non league team they have no right being in the competition. That might be a bit harsh but surely the game should be moved to Blackpool.
