Altrincham FC have arranged a game between players in their current squad and a team of Alty Legends of past years. The game will be at 7.45pm at Moss Lane on Tuesday, 16th October.

Players so far confirmed for the "Legends" team are:

Ian Senior
Chris Adams
Gary Talbot
Peter Band
Ken McKenna
Paul Cuddy
Shaun Constable


Admission will be £5 for Adults and £2 for Under 16s

I've done a ring round with the following results;
Mark Ward says he's flattered to be asked to play..but he wants to be the coach as well..and the manager..and the chairman...said he'd also be interested in selling 'refreshments'.

Jason Gallagher says he thinks he's in the best shape for years and he could give us at least 5 minutes.

Clive Freeman said he'll see what he can do and I said "THAT'S WHAT HE CAN DO......."

Baywatch wants to be reserve keeper as long as there is no chance whatsoever he'll actually be called on...but he's happy to do some exhibition stuff at half time.

We've also got Darren Heesom, John Davidson, Clive freeman all fighting for the left back position but I think we'll play Steven Cross there instead ironies of ironies.

It is also hoped that 1990s' team captain, Mick Carmody may be available.
