I've reffed on this pitch a few times and also reffed and lined on the one at Woodley Sports, which is not dissimilar.

I have to say that I'm more with Gareth Whalley on this..it does find you out if you have any sort of a lower limb problem (ankle, knee, calf, achilles) because, good as it is (and it is a lot better than previous synthetic pitches) it isn't natural grass growing in soil like most pitches are. It can produce an effect similar to walking barefoot on wet sand (i.e. it 'draws' your legs)

There are, I'm led to believe, also differences when you're playing on it rather than officiating.
